We enjoy having visitors at
Why Worry Hounds! We welcome visitors to cap with our pack
and ask that
anyone interested in visiting us to please contact
the Masters before the day of the hunt.
Our capping fee is $35.00. Juniors (riders under the age of 18)
are welcome to hunt with Why
Worry Hounds for free. Locals are limited to 5 caps a season; visitors
are allowed unlimited capping.
Because so many of our friends do not live
in South Carolina year round, we have created a new
Out-of-Town Membership in
hopes that this will make it easier for them to join us when they are in
South
Carolina. If you are interested in the Out-of-Town or Regular Membership, please contact
the
Masters.
We ask that our visitors do respect our rules while out hunting with the Why Worry Hounds. Why
Worry is a very relaxed hunt with an open friendly atmosphere and our rules
are those that can be
found at practically every hunt in the United States. We DO request that
all riders following our hounds
wear ASTM certified helmets with chin straps for their safety. If you have
any questions or worries
regarding your first day out with hounds, please call George or Jeanie (before
the day of the hunt!)
and they will be happy to answer your questions and help you prepare for
a wonderful day out
with hounds.
Visitors List:
- The morning of the hunt arrive in enough
time to introduce yourself to George and Jeannie (so
they can in turn introduce you to the membership).
- Have your cap, hunt
release form and negative
coggins to show to the Masters before you
mount.
Membership who have guests hunting with Why Worry are responsible for their
guests and for ensuring
the guests have paid their cap, signed a hunt
release form and that
their horses have hunted
and have a negative coggins.
